Join our healthcare team as an Infection Control Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in protecting patients and staff from healthcare-associated infections. We are looking for individuals passionate about safety and public health, with strong clinical backgrounds and a drive to maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control within our facility.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and execution of Infection Prevention and Control Programs as per hospital policies and guidelines.
Conduct surveillance, investigation, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections, outbreaks, and high-risk situations among patients, staff, and equipment.
Provide expert advice on infection prevention and control to clinical and non-clinical staff.
Collect, analyze, and maintain records related to infection surveillance and clinical incidents.
Organize and perform regular audits of wards and hospital environments to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Coordinate and deliver infection prevention and control education/training sessions for staff and patients.
Conduct epidemiological investigations during infection outbreaks and liaise with related departments to ensure effective response.
Develop, coordinate, and evaluate infection control training programs in multiple languages where required.
Advocate for best practices and compliance among all healthcare workers and support departments
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Nursing with at least 2 to 4 years of relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Valid practicing license with the Singapore Nursing Board.
Advanced Diploma in Infection Control or formal training in infection prevention/control is advantageous.
Experience as an Infection Control Link Nurse
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Comfortable in fast-paced hospital environments
